Insane Inflatable 5k

Oh boy, what have I done?! Yesetrday I signed up for the Insane Inflatable 5k. This will be the first 5k that I will run in. I have participated in many 5k walks before, but running will certainly be a challenge. It is no secret that I am totally out of shape and overweigh. I thought this would be a way to motivate me into being more active. I am not ashamed of my body, but I would like to be more fit. The race is September 28th and I have joined the 10:45 time slot on a team called "Win or Lose, We Still Booze". What a cute name! I guess it's time that I start training! Wondering what the Insane Inflatable 5k race is? Check out the video below! Do you have any advice for me? Leave any words of wisdom in the comments! Is there race near you?

I have not nor will I be compensated for this post. I wrote it on my own with no expectation of compensation. I wrote this to talk about the journey I will be making as this race gets closer.

  3. I think a 5k is enough work, without having to charge through an inflatable obstacle course. It does look fun though, so I wish you luck.

  4. This is a great take on a 5K. There's plenty of runs out there that will beat the crap out of you. I've never seen a 5K quite so... cushy.

  16. This 5k run is exciting. Never thought it can be done using inflatables. Even though there are obstacles, I'm sure everyone will pass those easily.

  33. this might be tricky to run past this slide of sorts, but am sure you will finish it with flying colors! good luck + do share your lovely experience with us. i have been meaning to join runs but local events are scarce + most runs are held in far off cities. hopefully, something will come up in my city soon so that i can join in. i am also in such a bad shape + i need the workout very badly!
